Product Introduction

Where You Can Buy Buy Pure Capsaicin - Kintaihealth®

Capsaicin has a wide range of uses, including medical health care, biological pesticides, chemical coatings, food health care, military ammunition and other fields. It has extremely high medicinal and economic value. If you want to buy pure capsaicin, please contact us through the link!

Capsaicin is the source of the spicy taste of peppers and is also a major active ingredient in peppers. Different varieties of peppers have different spicy tastes depending on the capsaicin content of the peppers themselves. For example, the spicy or not spicy taste of green peppers, sweet peppers, pointed peppers, line peppers, screw peppers, millet peppers, and erjingtiao peppers are all related to the capsaicin content. There are also some pepper products, such as hot pot base and chili sauce, which also have different levels of spiciness.

Pharmacological Effects of Capsaicin Powder

1. Analgesic effect

Both oral and topical administration of capsaicin have shown significant effects on pain caused by noxious thermal stimulation and chemical stimulation. When nerve fibers are injured, capsaicin initially acts to sensitize noxious neurons and cause pain. However, continued use leads to desensitization of noxious neurons and has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.

2. Cardiovascular protection

Studies have shown that capsaicin has significant cardiovascular protection. Capsaicin can induce an increase in Ca2+ flow and Ca2+ release in platelet cells, thereby inducing platelet activation, and this phenomenon can be inhibited by TRPV1 antagonists 5-iodoresiniferatoxin and AMG9810. TRPV1 has also been shown to contribute to the role of ADP and thrombin in inducing platelet activation.

3. Anti-cancer effect

The molecular mechanism of capsaicin's anti-cancer effect is mainly through acting on cancer cell mitochondria and inducing apoptosis. Using human myeloid leukemia cells as research materials, it was found that capsaicin can bind to the protein inhibitor 2, also known as antiproliferative protein 2 (PHB), located in the inner membrane of mitochondria, and induce it to transfer to the nucleus to regulate the transcriptional expression of some genes such as RB, p53 and androgen receptor to regulate cell apoptosis. PHB is usually directly related to the morphology of mitochondria and cell apoptosis. Therefore, the molecular mechanism of capsaicin's anti-cancer effect is to induce cancer cell apoptosis through the action of mitochondria and antiproliferative protein 2 on them.

4. Effects on the digestive system

Capsaicin has a protective effect on the stomach. Gastric microcirculation plays an important role in maintaining the integrity of the gastric mucosal barrier and mucosa. Sensory nerves in the gastric mucosa can regulate blood circulation. Capsaicin stimulates TRPV1 on sensitive afferent neurons to release relaxing peptide CGRP and nitric oxide, thereby increasing blood flow between blood vessels and gastric mucosa to restore gastric mucosal barrier and mucosal damage.

5. Antipruritic effect

Capsaicin can resist skin pruritus. It has a certain effect on pruritus caused by histamine, water irritation pruritus, uremia-related pruritus, nodular prurigo and pruritus related to postoperative syndrome, chronic and intractable anal skin pruritus, etc.

6. Antibacterial and insecticidal effects

Capsaicin has a significant inhibitory effect on Bacillus subtilis, Clostridium, Clostridium tetani, Bacillus cereus and Streptococcus pyogenes, but is ineffective against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.

7. Neuroprotective effect

By establishing a model of transient cerebral ischemia in Mongolian gerbils, mice were treated with different concentrations of capsaicin, and the total power detection of electroencephalogram (EEG) was used to find that capsaicin has a neuroprotective effect. However, the neuroprotective effect of capsaicin was blocked by blocking the activity of vanilloid subfamily member 1 (VR1) by capsazepine, which indicates that the neuroprotective effect of capsaicin is closely related to VR1, and its specific mechanism needs further study.

8. Antioxidant effect

Capsaicin can protect the development of ethanol-stimulated fetuses through antioxidant effects. Through morphological observation of embryos of ICR mice stimulated with ethanol, untreated ICR mice, and mice treated with capsaicin and ethanol, it was found that the cerebrum and cerebellum of ICR mice stimulated with ethanol did not develop, while the embryos of untreated ICR mice and mice treated with capsaicin and ethanol developed well.

Functional Applications of Capsaicin

1. Raw material for health care products

Capsaicin can stimulate the body's heat production system and speed up metabolism. Better promote the production of two enzymes in the body, reduce fat accumulation, and play a role in weight loss.

2. Food raw materials

Chili pepper is used as a food seasoning, but when chili pepper is eaten directly as a food ingredient, the bioavailability of capsaicin is not high, and it will continue to be released in the intestines, irritating the intestinal wall, causing abdominal discomfort and even anal burning pain, inducing hemorrhoid. Adding capsaicin as a food ingredient can effectively control the spiciness and ensure that capsaicin is well absorbed.

3. Medicinal raw materials

Capsaicin with higher purity has strong and lasting anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Oral administration can promote gastric juice secretion, increase appetite, relieve gastrointestinal flatulence, improve digestive function, and promote blood circulation; external use can relieve toothache, muscle pain, rheumatism, skin diseases and other diseases, and has a more significant effect on neuralgia. The ointment made from it has a significant effect on neuralgia caused by chronic rheumatoid arthritis, herpes zoster, traumatic injuries, etc.; it also has a good effect on psoriasis and baldness.

4. Chemical raw materials

Adding capsaicin during the production of insulation and sheath materials for wires and cables can effectively prevent animals such as rats and rabbits from gnawing on the cables, and it also has the effect of repelling and killing termites. Adding capsaicin to paint can effectively repel mosquitoes and reduce the attachment of microorganisms. Currently, capsaicin has been widely used in marine paints. Another important application of capsaicin is as the main raw material for tear gas in the military industry.
