Pharmacological Effects of Capsaicin Powder
1. Analgesic effect
Both oral and topical administration of capsaicin have shown significant effects on pain caused by noxious thermal stimulation and chemical stimulation. When nerve fibers are injured, capsaicin initially acts to sensitize noxious neurons and cause pain.
